Solar PV installations is one of the most cost effective ways of providing Green Energy to your home. The energy created feeds into your existing electrical system and helps to power your home. You may wish to enable the Solar PV system to feed any surplus electrical energy back into the grid and generate money from it.
You can use Solar PV generated electricity to heat your hot water, charge your car or both.
We provide and install systems that will either divert energy to charge your car or pass it to your immersion heater. This uses the excess Solar PV-generated electricity, which would otherwise be exported to the grid and cost you more to import it back. These units monitor the amount of electricity generated as well as the amount that your home requires.
When there is a surplus this energy is diverted to your immersion heater or car depending on priority settings instead of being exported to the grid. Please note, you need a hot water storage tank to get hot water.
This type of system does not affect your FIT generation payments because you are still paid for exporting 50% of the electricity you generate regardless of whether you use it in your home or export it to the National Grid.

An energy-storage system, also called a home or solar battery, lets you capture electricity so you can use it at another time. For example, you can store the electricity your solar panels generate during the day and use it at night in your home and also to charge your electric car.
