Electricity is dangerous so you need a name you can trust. Chapmans is accredited with NIC EIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors) Part P Domestic Installer and ECA (Electrical Contractors Association) so you know we are not only people who can, but people who will do it safely and properly.
How do you know whether you need a rewire? If you have old wiring which has been damaged or has become brittle, or your sockets sometimes get hot to the touch, it’s best to get it checked out, we’ll be able to advise you then. If your wiring is still aluminium or even cloth covered or is getting hot anywhere then it’s probably time for a rewire. If you’re changing or upgrading your consumer unit, fuseboard or fusebox to something more modern with MCB’s and an RCD for safety or because you need a bigger one for new showers, garages, lighting, conservatories or extensions then you might also consider rewiring.
If you’re in any doubt at all then please don’t touch it, electricity bites, call the experts at Chapmans Electrical and arrange for an engineer to have a look.
