Network Cabling & WiFi
Years of experience of Cat5, Cat6 and Fibre Optic network solutions
Network Cabling and WiFi
When installing network cabling, either CAT 5, CAT 6 or fibre optic, in your property the system generally will terminate at face plates at a point where you need them. This enables you to simply and safely connect your network devices such as computers, printers, POS & stock control systems, CCTV or media centres without having trailing network cables. We also supply all switches, hubs or any other network equipment required to give you a complete install.
Structured network cabling for your LAN is generally copper unless there is a need for higher bandwidths and uses one of a range of network cable standards, CAT 5, CAT 5e, CAT 6, CAT 6a, or CAT 7. These standards represent increasingly higher quality protection against interference and crosstalk, which allows for higher network traffic throughput, or bandwidth. CAT 6 upwards are designed for gigabit network applications, or 1000BASE-TX upwards, and are rapidly becoming the standard, but each installation is different, with different requirements.
Wi Fi
We all need efficient computer networks today both in commercial and domestic applications. We are known for our design and installation of Wi-Fi and networking systems. Whatever your need we can choose the equipment best suited to provide a lasting solution.
As well as increasing your indoor or outdoor coverage we can help improve Wi-Fi speed. Systems may have been installed that actually lower speeds and can cause your internet connection to appear slow. It could be a problem with your previously installed devices being mismatched. We can help solve these problems.
