Chapmans Electrical are excited to support the Enterprise Homes Group, a local project based in Wolverhampton. Their vision is to make homelessness history working together in partnerships and wider collaborations across the city. They operate as a loving and supportive family to those who have become excluded and may have experienced a period of homelessness.
The Group was launched early in 2019 bringing together several complementary streams of activity in the homelessness sector. The Covid pandemic became catalytic in changing the way in which much of the work at ‘the sharp end’ of homelessness was done, accelerating partnership working.
Through coaching and friendship, they Group looks to re-ignite a hope for the future with a genuine belief in the people they work with and their ability to make a success of their future, no matter what their circumstance might be.
The Group tells those it is working with that they believe in them and that they can make it. This builds essential trust and strong relationships. This person-led approach shapes the culture throughout the whole organisation and sees each individual take control and responsibility for where they want to get to, and how they are going to get there.
With the support of individuals, churches, and organisations like Chapmans Electrical, Enterprise Homes is finding homes, building community, developing skills, and creating meaningful employment for the excluded in Wolverhampton.
